AVES Community Centers are innovative spaces designed to provide life-saving assistance and support long-term integration for migrants and vulnerable host communities in Ciudad Juárez and Tijuana, Mexico. Launched in 2023 by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and implemented with local partners, AVES Centers serve as hubs for multi-sectoral services, convening over 30 NGOs, government agencies, international organizations, and academic institutions to provide coordinated support that extends beyond immediate aid, focusing on inclusion, recovery and development.
