USA for IOM is the International Organization for Migration (IOM)’s nonprofit partner in the US.
Our Mission is to raise awareness about our global priorities, including climate change & disasters, poverty & conflict and, counter-trafficking.
To achieve this mission, we spur action and investment for migration initiatives by fostering partnerships with academia, philanthropy, and the private sector AND by mobilizing support from the American people.
Established in 1951, IOM is the UN’s primary agency in the field of migration. IOM provides humanitarian assistance to migrants in need, including refugees and internally displaced people, promotes international cooperation on migration issues, and assists in the search for practical solutions to migration challenges.
