Climate migration is already a grim reality for many people around the world. It is predicted to affect many more in the future if we don’t act now. Every year 20 million people are displaced because of climate change, extreme weather, and environmental degradation.

IOM supports people in three different ways: (1) to stay and adapt to climate change; (2) while they move when forced to flee; and (3) to find solutions for their lives in the new places once they move.

More than 15 million people in Somalia and Pakistan need humanitarian aid due to the recent extreme weather events. IOM provides life-saving assistance to those affected by floods and drought and the support they need to stay in their homes.

Your donation can help people stay in their homes dignified and humanely. And when the inevitable happens, you can help us help those affected to move to safety.
