SYRIA AND TÜRKIYE NEED YOUR HELP
On February 6 2023, two earthquakes hit southeast Türkiye and northwest Syria. The 7.7 magnitude earthquake that hit the region is one of the strongest to hit the area in more than 100 years. More than 100 aftershocks occurred before another 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit the region. Thousands have been reported dead, injured, or stranded; the numbers increase by the hour.
Our teams are coordinating with Governments and partners to respond to the needs of those affected.
Freezing weather, snowstorms, power outages, water supply service interruption, and significant public infrastructure damage threaten people and reduce access to essential services.
We need your help to provide urgent relief items, including shelter, winter clothing, mobile heaters, and blankets to those in need.
